Rajan Shahi who has two hit shows Bidaai and Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata ha ino Star Plus has come up with a new show titled Maat Pita Ke Charno Mein Swarg on colours.
Set in the holy land of Vrindavan, the sacred dwelling place of Hindu tradition and mythology, ‘Maat – Pitaah ke charnon mein SWARG’ follows the eternal story of The Ramayan through the life and trials of the main protagonist Shubh.
Despite being handicapped since birth, Shubh does not succumb to the challenges that life throws at him. He is a perfect blend of traditional values and modern sensibility. Shubh is a child who has learnt all about life through the teachings of his father and his mother, who although is a step-mother, is Goddess personified for him.
In this time of Kalyug however, the father who has always been righteous, somehow gets blinded by his own righteousness and goes wrong. And the mother, who has been an epitome of love, somehow succumbs to her motherhood and turns selfish. In spite of these odds, can Shubh manage to keep his family together?
