The story is about a simple naive village girl name Vidya from Banaras. The twist in her life takes place when she gets marry to a mentally challenged guy named Sagar Pratap Singh who refuses to take her side. Vidya soon enough gains the love of Sagar and Vidya she soon helps him recover by taking getting him to Singapore where he could get surgery. The surgery was successful, but Sagar doesn't seem to remember anything he had done during the two years immediately after the incident which caused him lose his memory and act like a mentally-challenged kid. He did not recognize Vidya because he had married her while he was mentally challenged. Vidya battles on with Sagar's step sister Sindoora, but Sagar just never believes her. When Sagar finally realizes that his sister Sindoora is responsible for every bad thing that happened in their life, he and Vidya make a plan to get Sindoora arrested. His plan, unfortunately does not work. Sadly, the two of them get shot by Sindoora. However, that is not the end of the story.
